Ms. Shaub's background is in education, having taught Biology and the sciences in grades 7 through 12 in both public and private schools. During this time she was involved as a faculty participant in a school counseling program, leading small student groups in dealing with issues such as codependency and living a healthy emotional life.

Ms. Shaub received her nursing education at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She served 28 years as a Family Nurse Practitoner in busy Family Practice and Urgent Care settings. She also was an on-site clinical instructor for graduate nursing students.

She is now is happily retired, and enjoys spending time with her friends, her children and nine grandchildren, and continues to walk through whatever doors God opens for her.
